Shenandoah Riverside Festival

This April 30th thru May 2nd, we will be holding a small gathering of wonderfully talented musicians and friends of the environment, to help raise money for EarthKorps, an organization dedicated to cleaning up the historic Shenandoah River. All proceeds will go towards this cause.

This event will be held right on the banks of the Shenandoah River, in our beautiful town of Strasburg, VA.  I know that many of you would like to see our beloved Shenandoah River benefit from a very real clean up effort.  EarthKorps is a non-profit group willing to take on this considerable task.

Weve lined up over 15 bands and dozens of individual musicians who want to donate their time and energy to making a difference, starting right here at home. Artists include Five of a Kind, Scott Christopher Murray, Con Burch and Mark T, On The Bus, Joe Herbert & Friends, George Wesley & Small Axe Orchestra, Dry Mill Road, David Frye, Rick Harris Jr, PBR, Steal the Prize, The Shakedown, Jake & The Burtones, GAC Bluegrass, Ambrose Dilemma, Rick Harris Jr. Mark Barreres, Friends 'O The Shenandacky, and more.

The Shenandoah Riverside Festival is a family -friendly event, and we will not be serving alcohol, but will have a few vendors on hand to offer some tasty food items, as well as soft drinks.  There will be no RV camping, no pets, no drugs, weapons or other troublesome items tolerated.  The cost of the festival is only $35.00 for the entire weekend, with camping and parking included. One-day passes for $20.00 are available for purchase on Saturday only.

This will be a nice, laid back weekend of music and camping on the Shenandoah River, with bands starting around 4 PM on Friday, and ending at 2 PM on Sunday.  This will be a very entertaining, fun weekend for all!

We have been so fortunate to have many area business leaders pitching in to help get us started, and to offset the expenses already incurred, in order to make this weekend a success.
